The UNBOUNDED™ HONORS are judged entirely by the WLA General Counsel Council — the GCs and CLOs who commissioned and received the work being recognised. That changes everything about what the award means.

Judged by General Counsel

The WLA GC Council — active GCs and CLOs who use WLA — are the sole judges. No peer review, no editorial panel, no paid judges.

Evidence-based, not self-nominated

Nominations must be accompanied by documentation of the matter — the brief, the outcome, the cross-border co-practice complexity.

Genuinely competitive

Nominations come from 90+ jurisdictions. Not every category has a winner every year — only genuinely outstanding co-practice work is recognised.

Co-practice is the standard

All categories require cross-border co-practice under the WLA Institutional framework. Single-jurisdiction work is not eligible.
